Your first DroneGo.io mission.
If you fly a DJI Air 3, Air 3S, Mini 4 Pro or similar DJI Fly waypoint drone, start here. This guide explains the practical steps from drawing a route on DroneGo.io to opening the mission in DJI Fly.
What DroneGo.io does
DroneGo.io is a desktop planning workspace. You plan and preview the route in your browser, then download an install pack for the normal DJI Fly waypoint workflow.
It does not fly the drone by itself, connect to your aircraft, grant airspace permission or replace DJI Fly. You still review and launch the mission in DJI Fly.
Before you start
- A supported DJI Fly waypoint drone, such as Air 3, Air 3S, Mini 4 Pro or a supported Mavic 3 profile.
- A PC or Mac browser for planning the route.
- Access to the DJI Fly waypoint mission folder on your Android device or DJI RC-style controller.
- A simple placeholder waypoint mission already saved in DJI Fly. Two waypoints is enough.
- A recording plan: DroneGo automates the flight, but you still press record, stop record, or take photos in DJI Fly.
- Time to review the exported mission carefully before flying.
The simple first-mission path
1. Create a DJI Fly placeholder
Save a small waypoint mission in DJI Fly so the device creates a mission folder.

Search for the site, draw a route, select your drone, then keep the first test mission simple.

DJI waypoint height is based on take-off. Set TOALP if take-off is not the first route point.

Use the route preview, 3D preview and validation findings before export.

Download the zip. It contains the DJI-compatible KMZ plus waypoint thumbnail files. Plan where you will press record before flying.

Back up the DJI mission folder, replace its contents with the install pack contents, then review in DJI Fly before launch.

For your first DroneGo mission, use a short route, safe open space, modest speed and conservative height. Avoid complex camera moves until you have proved the export and DJI Fly install workflow on your own device.
